He has extensive experience in smart territories and has held responsibilities in this field as an advisory member of the Office of the State Secretariat for the Information Society and Digital Agenda, while working as the coordinator of the National Plan of Smart Territories and president of the Technical Committee for UNE Standard 178 (Smart Cities). He’s been an advisory member of the Sub-secretariat of the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce; director of organisation, technological development and risk control at FIIAPP and board member of CNSP. He has likewise been the General Director of INTECO (now INCIBE), as well as the Director of the Telecommunications Observatory for the Information Society of Red.es and Director of the Technical Office that, as part of C.A.T.S.I., defined the Convergence Plan that was used to prepare Plan Avanza.
