Photographic Marathon: What does the Cathedral see?
Every day thousands of people from all over the world and from Santiago we passed by her, we photographed her, admired her, filled the nets with her silhouette. What if the Cathedral had Facebook or Instagram? What would it count? A contest to change the look for a while.

Exhibition "White Way - Antarctic Way"
A whole of 62 photographs composes the exhibition "White Way - Antarctic Way" with which Correos pays homage to the Spanish scientists and millitary who have participated in the 1st Antarctic Pilgrimage to Santiago: 14.075 kilometers, on the longest Jacobean route to date.

Award ceremony of the FAIRWAY school drawing contest: "Mi Camino de Santiago"
This event starts with the intention of inviting all children of primary education to participate in a school drawing competition, organized thanks to the collaboration of the Department of Education and Citizenship of the City of Santiago, which will take place under the Fairway , an International Forum on the Camino de Santiago, which will include Fair and Congress. It will be held from 12 to 14 November.

Presentation "Botanical Notes of the Camino de Santiago"
First of all, it is necessary to make clear that the intention of these botanical notes is not to make a "Guide of the Way of Santiago" to the use of the many and very good that there is already, but the book tries to give to know the main species and formations vegetables that are located along the way, understanding this as a real "green corridor", more than 740 kilometers long and cite some of the species that depend on them, or use them to subsist.

El Juego de la Oca (Board Game) of the Way of St. James
El Juego de la Oca of the Way of St. James has a double function: on the one hand the informative aspect, since it serves as a reminder of those places that the pilgrims spend, and on the other, the purely ludic, since it is a game well known and that can share people of any age or place.

Workshop: Songs on the Portuguse Way: From Lisbon to Compostela. Adufeiras do Salitre (Formative Activity)
In this workshop explore the relationships between Galicia and Portugal through their music and using the Poruguese Way as the main thread. We will stop in melodies and rhythms located at both banks of the Miño, highlighting similarities and differences.

Carlos Blanco and the Way of St. James
For someone who liveed 30 years in Santiago do the Way would be something like taking a walk.
Carlos made the Way in his day; made to in reality, and has the idea of making more and put it on the stage.
He already did it with a show called "Só" in which he narrated, in a humorous way, that experience.

Awarding of Prizes Photo contest "The values of the Way"
Correos and iPeregrinos launched this contest to reward the best images that reflected the values of the Way.
The contest was held during the months f July and August, and the winning photos will be on display during the Fair.

Concert IN FESTO SANCTI JACOBI- VOX STELLAE
There are many composers, especially in Spain, who have composed music for the solemnities of St. James, either for the commemoration of his martyrdom (25 July) or for the translation of his remains (December 30). The repertoire to be interpreted in this concert pretends to be a sample of the composition dedicated to Santiago from the XII century until the XVIII century, including music from the archive of the Galician cathedrals of Santiago de Compostela and Tui; and works of great renaissance authors.

Monographic workshop of traditional music on the Way - Xavier Díaz
Xabier Diaz combines his facet as musician and composer with a laborious activity as a researcher and compiler of traditional Galician folklore. He has been the titular singer of the Nova Galega de Danza company with which he performed the shows Alento, Engado and Tradición all over the Iberian Peninsula.
In this workshop we will learn about the traditional Galician instruments related to the wayand learn to make simple pieces.

Traditional Pastry of the Way of St. James with Manuel Garea
Through this workshop we will dicover the most emblematic desserts of the way: Tarta Santiago, Almendrados, Torta de Guitiriz and Bicas.
The delicious recipes stand out for a process in which the careful ingredients and their realization, following the handmade processees, are the key to get a table with a special charm.
