Round table: Investment metrics: Decision making
When making the decision about an investment, the business angel takes into account a series of criteria. When we talk about investment in startups, the youth of the company and usually its promoters are a determining factor, since the metrics are usually not solid or contrasted with years of experience. Therefore, there are certain criteria that the investor always follows in a startup.
Fernando Moroy will moderate a round table at Fairway Invest, which will address the different criteria that an investor has to take into account when making an investment decision. It involves investment experts such as Juan Basurto (business angel), Irene Gonzalez (Fitalent-Everis) and Fernando Guldrís (Xesgalicia).

Juan Basurto
Naval Engineer and Bachelor of Economics. He has developed almost all his professional career in the financial sector, being his last stage in the Spanish Association of Banking (AEB). He is currently the CEO of Lertegui Corporación (which he founded) and is a company advisor as well as investor in startups.
Irene González
Chief Financial Officer of Everis Initiatives, in charge of Strategic and Corporative Planning, and Financial Projects. She previously worked as the CFO in an international company related to sports, as a Senior Innovation Consultor in ALTRAN, and participated in starting up FCR UNINVEST
Fernando Moroy
Doctor in Economic and Business Science with a Degree in Physics, PDG from IESE, Post-Graduate Courses at the Harvard Business School. More than 34 years’ experience in leading financial entities, the last 20 in executive posts (Caixabank’s Director of Institutional Affairs in the Madrid Region, General Subdirector of Banco Guipuzcoano, BBVA, etc). Lecturer at prestigious national and international Universities and Business Schools. Author of several publications and Member of the Advisory Board in different companies and foundations (Fundación El Mundo del Superdotado).
Fernando Guldrís
Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Santiago de Compostela, MBA from the EAE Business School and from the Camilo José Cela University and Master in Corporate Finance from the University of Seville. Actualmemte is the General Director of XesGalicia.
