Fairway, the only forum on the Camino de Santiago that integrates fair and congress, reaches its third edition and will be held at the Palacio de Congresos de Santiago from February 10 to 12, 2019. As a great novelty, it will act for the first time as promoter of an investment forum in startups and businesses linked to the Camino. This initiative, called Fairway Invest, is developed in collaboration with the largest network of private investors in the world, Keiretsu Forum.

The main claim of Fairway Invest will be an ideas contest that will end with the election of up to a maximum of ten finalists, who will have the opportunity to present their projects to national and international investors, venture capital companies and business angels. The jury will also select a winner, who will receive a prize of five thousand euros for lost funds.

The Fairway Invest call is aimed at entrepreneurs whose activity is linked to the Camino de Santiago, either because of its geographical location or its sector (tourist, hotel, hotel, etc.). They must also meet a series of requirements: companies that are invoicing or in the commercialization phase, that have a company value of less than two million euros, that seek a round of financing in private capital of between 50 and 500 thousand euros and are formed by more than one person. Registrations can be made until January 18.

The Fairway Invest day, which will take place on February 12, will also include a morning of conferences with themes related to investment and business on the Camino de Santiago. Among the speakers, there will be reference experts such as Gonzalo Tradacete, from Faraday, or Irene Gutiérrez, from Everis, among others.

In the afternoon, Fairway Invest will become a meeting point between entrepreneurs and dozens of investors and financing professionals. In addition to the Investment Forum in which the finalist startups will present their projects to dozens of investors, funding tables will be created in which the entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to know with what public and private options they have.
