The Camino de Santiago draws the attention of the largest network of private investors in the world
Keiretsu Forum, the largest network of private investors in the world, fixes its attention on entrepreneurs and start ups that focus their activity on the Camino de Santiago, supporting Fairway Invest.
Fairway Invest, which will be held in Santiago de Compostela on February 12, 2019, has as objective that companies, entrepreneurs and startups with projects linked to the Jacobean route can establish contact with financing channels, investment entities or angels bussines that help them materialize your business ideas.
Fairway Invest is the main novelty of the third edition of Fairway, the first congress with an exclusive fair dedicated to the Camino de Santiago that will celebrate its third edition next year. The call for this day is aimed at entrepreneurs whose activity maintains links with the pilgrimage path, either because of its geographical location or its sector (tourist, hotel, hotel, etc.).
In addition, entrepreneurs interested in participating must meet a series of requirements such as having their companies invoicing or in the commercialization phase, which have a company value of less than two million euros, seeking a round of financing in private capital from among 50 and 500 thousand euros and that are formed by more than one person. Registrations can be made until January 18.
Ideas competition
The great claim of Fairway Invest will be a contest of ideas that will end with the election of up to a maximum of ten finalists, who will have the opportunity to present their projects to investors of national and international projection, venture capital companies and business angels. The jury will also select a winner, who will receive a prize of five thousand euros for lost funds.
The Fairway Invest day will also include a morning of conferences that will address issues related to investment and business in this millennial route. Among the speakers, there will be reference experts such as Gonzalo Tradacete, from Faraday, or Irene Gutiérrez, from Everis, among others.
It will be in the afternoon when Fairway Invest is erected as a meeting point between entrepreneurs and dozens of investors and financing professionals. On the one hand, an Investment Forum will take place in which the finalist startups will present their projects to dozens of investors and, on the other, funding tables will be created in which the entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to know with what public and private options they have for boost your projects.
Course for business angels
Facing investors, Fairway Invest integrates a nine-hour training course aimed at both entrepreneurs and individuals with capital and investors with some experience who are interested in investing in business projects related to the Camino de Santiago. This course, which aims to promote and reinforce the figure of the private investor and the business angel, will address various aspects among which stand out metrics (assessment of start ups), concepts such as due diligence and the pact phase of partners. It will take place as a previous activity to Fairway, on January 17 and 18.
Keiretsu Forum, created in 2000 in San Francisco, has been in Spain for ten years. It is the largest private investment network in the world and the most dynamic in our country with 27 forums held throughout the present 2018. In the last six years, it has analyzed more than 2,300 business projects -selecting 900 to present in the most of 130 forums that it has organized - and has assisted in the investment of 80 projects worth 15 million euros.
