Porto and North Portugal Tourism
The Regional Tourism Entity of Porto and North Portugal is regional in scope, encompassing the 86 municipal districts that make up NUT II – North, is a public collective association in charge of promoting and developing the tourist potential of the respective tourist region, internal promotion, and the larger market of regional tourist destinations, as well as the integrated management of the destinations in the field of regional tourist development, the sphere of action of Porto and North Portugal Tourism. The regional entity features a wide range of natural and heritage resources, unique products, and brands of great quality, which make up the range of tourist products of a singular region, divided into four sub-destinations: Porto, Duero, Miño, and Tras-los-Montes.
It manages the Caminos de Santiago in North Portugal, being responsible for their promotion and tourist use.
