OPEN DAY
Gastroway
All of Fairway’s visitors on November 1 will have the chance to discover the Camino de Santiago’s gastronomy with a selection of tapas based on some of the most characteristic recipes of the different pilgrimage routes to Santiago.
The tapas that will be available include, among others, Asturian “fabada” (bean stew) and “marmitako” (tuna stew) from the Northern Way; Rioja-style potatoes and lamb “al chilindrón” (cooked with tomatoes and peppers) from the French Way; Extremaduran “migas” (breadcrumb dish) or garlic soup from the Vía de la Plata route; cod “pataniscas” and “frango grelhado” (chicken dish) from the Portuguese Way; and artisanal “empanada” (Galician pie) or “tarta de Santiago” (almond cake) that pilgrims come across when they arrive in Galicia.
The tapas will be paired with a bar of drinks featuring wines from the different regions that the Camino passes through.
Price of tapas: 4,5 €
