Decree 196/2012 established the Galician Tourism Agency as a regional public agency with the objective of promoting, coordinating, and managing regional policy in the field of tourism, and especially the promotion and regulation within the region, and the conservation and promotion of the Caminos de Santiago.
The Regional Tourism Entity of Porto and North Portugal is regional in scope, encompassing the 86 municipal districts that make up NUT II – North, is a public collective association in charge of promoting and developing the tourist potential of the respective tourist region, internal promotion, and the larger market of regional tourist destinations, as well as the integrated management of the destinations in the field of regional tourist development, the sphere of action of Porto and North Portugal Tourism.
A municipal company dependent on Santiago de Compostela City Council that manages all the city’s policy regarding foreign promotion, the creation and management of tourist products, staffing municipal tourist information offices, and promoting initiatives that support congress tourism, marketing, and that promote tourist quality.
RÃas Baixas Tourism is the Tourism Service of Pontevedra Provincial Council, which has the objective of promoting and boosting all activities linked in some way with the promotion and development of tourism in the province of Pontevedra’s municipal districts, as well as improving their tourist image by means of different initiatives and undertakings.
