The “SOCIEDAD PÚBLICA DE GESTIÓN Y PROMOCIÓN TURÍSTICA Y CULTURAL DEL PRINCIPADO DE ASTURIAS, S.A.U. (SPGP)” is a company owned entirely by the Autonomous Region of the Principality of Asturias, which resulted from the merger between “GESTIÓN DE INFRAESTRUCTURAS CULTURALES, TURÍSTICAS Y DEPORTIVAS DEL PRINCIPADO DE ASTURIAS, S.A.U.” and “SOCIEDAD REGIONAL DE TURISMO, S.A.,” acquiring its current name as of October 22, 2013.

Its function is centred on the management and running of cultural, tourist, and sports facilities, the provision of infrastructure to improve the tourist experience, and providing consultancy services to promote the Principality of Asturias’ tourist sector and activities.
