Un total de dezaseis xornalistas de docemedios de comunicación tanto españois como estranxeiros participan, a partir deste xoves 7 de febreiro, no press trip de Fairway III Fórum do Camiño; unha viaxe de familiarización coa Ruta Xacobea que percorrerá durante tres días algúns dos itinerarios oficiais menosconocidos: o Camiño Portugués pola Costa, o Camiño do Norte e o Camiño Fisterrra-Muxía.

These press trips, which gain a lot of weight with respect to past Fairway editions, have as objectives to promote the Forum of the Camino and, mainly, to give visibility to the Jacobean routes and their tourist resources in all areas: landscape, heritage, gastronomy, etc.

To this end, representatives of general and specialized media, both national and international, will participate in the trip. Among foreigners are the South African magazine 'Traveler 24', the most important travel medium in the continent, or the Brazilian radio station Super Radio. At the Spanish level, journalists such as La Razón, Viajar, Marie Claire or National Geographic will be present, among others.

As for the tourist resources that will visit, following the Portuguese Way by the Costalos communicators will know the castro of Santa Trega and the estuary of the river Miño, the castle of Soutomaior or the traslatio by the Ría de Arousa; on the Camino del Norte the beach of As Catedrais, the cathedral of Mondoñedo or the Museum of Archeology and Prehistory of Vilalba; and on the Camino Fisterra-Muxía the town of Pontemaceira, the viewpoint of O Ézaro, Cabo Fisterra or the sanctuary of Virxe da Barca, among others.

Fairway, III Forum of the Camino de Santiago

After the press trip the journalists will meet, from Sunday 10, at the Palacio de Congresos de Santiago to participate in the different sections of this third edition of Fairway: fair, congress, workshop, investment forum (Fairway Invest), training program (Fairway Academy) and a complete program of activities for the public on the Camino during Fairway Open Day.
