Turismo Centro de Portugal
The regional tourism organisation Turismo Centro de Portugal is responsible for promoting and showcasing a large area covering 100 municipalities spread across eight intermunicipal communities. It represents a diverse, authentic region rich in natural, cultural and gastronomic heritage, stretching from the coast to the interior and offering unique experiences to visitors.
The Caminos de Santiago (Way of St James) that cross Central Portugal are structured into four main itineraries: the Central Portuguese Way of St James, the Naciente Way, the Portuguese Interior Way and the Torres Way. They also include complementary routes such as the Maritime Way of St James, the Western Way and the Via da Estrela.
