Its general objective is highlighting the cultural, natural, and human resources of the Camino de Santiago. It also aims to contribute to the development of rural areas along the Camino de Santiago by promoting and disseminating their values. Another goal is to prolong the stay in our region of pilgrims after they arrive in Santiago, to increase the overnight stays in the Mar de Santiago’s municipal districts: Vilanova de Arousa, Catoira, Valga, and Pontecesures.
