Murcia Region – The Way of the Cross of Caravaca
The Way of the Cross of Caravaca is one of the main inland tourist attractions in the Region of Murcia, combining spirituality, nature and gastronomy. It has eight pilgrimage routes connecting different Spanish communities to Caravaca de la Cruz. The Region of Murcia, in south-eastern Spain, offers a harmonious blend of sea and mountains, with a temperate climate and over 300 days of sunshine a year. Caravaca de la Cruz is one of the five holy places of Christianity. Its Basilica and the relic of the Holy Cross make it a centre of faith and pilgrimage.
