As a product of the reflection that many visitors who come to Compostela do not walk The Way, from Fairway with the creation of this route for the 3rd edition we want to offer the opportunity of stepping out of the classical touristic circuits and also enjoy a closer touch with the city. Also, with I Camino, Santiago's neighbours will also be able to discover unknown areas of their city regarding the Camino which is always present but maybe not very recognised by the local community.

The prestigious Galician chef, who is in charge of Santiago’s Manso restaurant, will introduce young ones to cooking by means of amusing initiatives. The children (from 5 to 12) will get a chance to touch, knead and present dishes in an entertaining fashion, in a workshop in which our chef will undoubtedly make his mark on his Fairway pupils.

Everyone who visits Fairway on Sunday will have the opportunity to approach the gastronomy of the Camino de Santiago with a buffet where they can enjoy a selection of some of the most recognized dishes of the places through which the different Jacobean itineraries take place. Bon appetit!

Apaca, Animais do Camiño Protective Association, will accompany us with some of their dogs. Do you know that this association collects, cares for and cares for abandoned, lost or mistreated dogs on the Camino de Santiago and looks for people willing to provide a better life through adoption or acceptance? It also carries out awareness campaigns and has launched the first credential for the pilgrims. María is the manager of the San Lázaro de Sarria hostel, the one that receives more pilgrims from all over Spain and the one that is best valued by the users. When an entrepreneur starts a new project and seeks investment, one of the first issues that arise is the value of the company. When the company takes time to invoice and produce, it seems obvious. But, what happens when the company has just been born or recently has customers?

When making the decision about an investment, the business angel takes into account a series of criteria. When we talk about investment in startups, the youth of the company and usually its promoters are a determining factor, since the metrics are usually not solid or contrasted with years of experience. Therefore, there are certain criteria that the investor always follows in a startup.

Meeting created with the aim of offering entrepreneurs the possibility of presenting their projects to different financing entities, among which are Caixa Rural, Access to Crowd, Enisa and Xesgalicia. A great opportunity to obtain viability support that makes these proposals a reality, revitalizing the business fabric of the Camino de Santiago.

Presentation of the 10 best entrepreneurial projects selected among all those presented to the Fairway Project Fund. They will hold a brief presentation in front of different investment entities, the award jury and Business Angels.

Immersed in the process of living an experiential journey,  learning to enjoy the journey itself. The question is not to move from one place to another, but rather that the route we make brings us closer to cultures, landscapes or unique monuments.

This table was born with the intention of addressing this phenomenon and also concrete examples of paths that have been created under these premises. Do we observe similarities?

The Fairway Project Fund award will award € 5,000 to the best entrepreneurial project selected by investors, we hope that this endowment will serve as support in the development of this initiative and that it will be a motivation for further creative proposals to be developed in the years to come.
